PERSONALISED PROGRAMMES

Multi- therapy personalised programmes for more sustained support

Personalised programmes of care allow for a focused When experiencing and of these things, daily life can start to feel harder to manage.

A Mind-Body approach looks at you as a whole person, rather than focusing on symptoms and difficulties in isolation. By developing greater awareness of your body and learning techniques to support nervous system regulation and flexibility, it is possible to feel more resourced in how you respond to life’s challenges, both physically and emotionally, increasing your capacity and supporting a greater sense of balance, resilience, and ease at every stage of life.

"The techniques Jane passed on through our subsequent meetings were not only invaluable,

but are exercises that I can honestly see myself using for the rest of my life. In helping me

to connect back to my body, she showed me how to fully relax so I could deal with the challenges

of daily life, from a much calmer and well balanced point of view."

Integrative Somatic Therapy

When the nervous system becomes dysregulated, it can affect how we experience the world around us. You may feel overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected from your body and its signals.

By gently increasing awareness of what is happening within the body, it becomes possible to better understand your stress responses and support your nervous system towards greater regulation and flexibility. This helps the body and mind begin to work more in harmony, increasing capacity and adaptability and unwinding physical symptoms.

During sessions, we develop practical tools and techniques tailored to you, that feel accessible and realistic to use in everyday life. This can support greater self-awareness, confidence, and a deeper understanding of yourself.

Theses sessions work well online as well as in person.

Clinical Reflexology

Sessions ease you out of a stress response and into a state of deep relaxation, without you having to do anything!

Sessions reduce tension, aid sleep, improve mood, promote a sense of physical and emotional wellbeing and provide time in a safe space, to be listened to or switch off and rest.

It’s less inhibiting than some other touch therapies as you only need to take off your socks and shoes! You may also wish to wrap up in a cosy blanket and listen to a choice of your own music.

I have specialist training in Reflexology for Pain and Mobility, Stress and Anxiety, Cancer support, RLD (Reflexology lymph drainage) and Women's Health.

Facial Reflexology

All of the same benefits as foot reflexology with the added benefit of reducing tension in the face, head and neck much more quickly. We hold so much in or faces when we are stressed or in pain. Easing the tension and reducing stress levels can provide a deeply relaxing treatment, while supporting the relief of stress related symptoms. Sessions can be carried out with or without oil. Great if you don’t like having your feet touched!

Yoga Therapy and Mindfulness for Chronic Pain

Chronic pain can impact on people’s lives in physical, psychological and social ways. Relationships, families, work and social life can all be affected, so support for those living with chronic pain needs to address all of these areas.

The aim of these sessions is to help people to gradually develop change in all 3 of these areas and also to support families to understand the complexity of chronic pain.

Yoga for Stress, Burnout and Fatigue

1:1 time to focus on your individual needs and abilities, and to really listen to yourself and what you need, which may just be lying down and having deep rest and relaxation - sometimes the hardest thing to do!

Sessions are accessible to all and, through a combination of breathwork, relaxation, meditation, mindfulness and movement practices, will provide you with tools to regulate over-activated and fatigued body systems.

Breath Support

Our breath and our emotions are closely connected. When we’re anxious or overwhelmed our breathing can become fast and shallow; when we feel relaxed at at ease it may be deeper and slower. By noticing and changing the way that we breathe we can often change the way we feel quite quickly. Understanding that we have some control over our breath, and recognising what is happening within the body and brain, can feel very empowering.

Changing breathing patterns isn’t always as easy as it sounds and can take a little time and practice. Patience and body awareness is a really important part of building a beneficial practice.
